In May Wakeful was back like every month, showing that the April event, which wasn’t the most crowded one, was just a bad day.

. On his side, the Wakeful guys, FreedomB & Bruno Otranto. The May edition started at twelve o’clock. Caused by the bank holiday on the next day, the various clubs in the German capital have been packed with party people.

FreedomB opened that night with a deep set consisting of songs from the Dutch team, Detroit Swindle and several house vocals, which were appreciated by an audience that arrived earlier than usual to the party.

After two hours of warm-up, Bruno Otranto took over by increasing the bpm and adding a touch of “tech”. At that time of the night, it was difficult to walk on the dance floor without bumping into someone. Like previous nights, Otranto perfectly knew how to control the dance floor by combining different elements that created a special and memorable set.

Kostas Tassopoulos or as he likes to be called, Ekkohaus, arrived at Wakeful after a crazy weekend where he presented his new music project “No School” in various German cities. As we expected, Ekko offered us finest house music with several hypnotic and melodic touches. Three hours of a vinyl / cd mixture leading to a half hour final with heavy artillery of 90´S Chicago house. Trust me, it was awesome!!

To close and keep good habits, the resident DJs, Bruno Otranto & FreedomB made their b2b which ended at half past eleven after applause and grateful smiles.
